Does Teetha® contain sugar?

Although Teetha® Teething Granules do not contain ordinary table sugar (sucrose), they do contain lactose which is a type of sugar that occurs naturally in milk. Teetha® Teething Gel contains xylitol. 

Are any of the ingredients in Teetha® derived from animals?

Teetha® Teething Granules contain lactose, which is derived from milk.

Can I give Teetha® if my child is lactose intolerant?

The Teetha® Teething Granules do contain lactose and should not be given to babies who are lactose intolerant. Teetha® Teething Gel does not contain lactose.

Can you use the granules and gel together?

Provided the baby is over 3 months, a combination can be used. Always follow the instructions on both packs.

How can you soothe a teething baby naturally?

Try gently rubbing on their gums with a clean finger, or allow them to bite on a clean, cool (not frozen) object, such as a chilled teething ring.

How many sachets of Teetha® can I use?

Do not exceed one sachet every 2 hours for a maximum of 6 doses during any 24-hour period. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.

How much Teetha® Gel should I use?

With a clean finger apply a pea sized amount of the gel to the sore area on the baby’s gums and teeth. Use every 4 hours for up to 6 times per day for a maximum of 7 days.

Is Teetha suitable for newborns?

Both the Teetha® Teething Granules and the Teetha® Teething Gel are suitable from 3 months old.

What active ingredients are in Teetha®?

Teetha® Teething Granules contain Chamomilla 6c. Teetha® Teething Gel contains Chamomilla 12c, Belladonna 12c and Aconite 12c.
